These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AthelVault mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”), provided by AthelVoid Solutions (“AthelVoid Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Malaysia. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use AthelVault.

1. What AthelVault Does

AthelVault helps you track things you own — including assets, warranties, maintenance records, documents, tags, and reminders. It includes two AI-assisted entry features, One Tap (which drafts an asset from a photo of a receipt or item) and Concierge (which guides manual entry with AI suggestions). AthelVault is offered as a free tier and a paid “Pro” tier with additional features.

2. Your Account

You need an account to use AthelVault. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to use AthelVault. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you’re legally able to enter into these Terms under the laws that apply to you.

3. Free and Pro Subscriptions

  • AthelVault’s free tier is available at no cost and provides the core asset-tracking features.
  • The Pro tier is a paid subscription purchased through Google Play. AthelVault is currently available on Google Play, with an App Store version planned; once available, the App Store version will be purchased the same way through Apple. Pricing, billing frequency, and included features are shown in the app before you subscribe.
  • Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal, in accordance with Google’s (or Apple’s, once applicable) subscription policies.
  • You manage, cancel, and request refunds for your subscription through your Google Play account (or Apple ID, once the App Store version is available) — not through AthelVault directly — and such requests are subject to Google’s and Apple’s own terms and refund policies.
  • We may change Pro pricing or features going forward; we’ll give you reasonable notice of material changes before they apply to your subscription.

4. Your Content

“Your Content” means the information you add to AthelVault — asset details, notes, tags, reminders, and any photos, receipts, or documents you upload. You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant AthelVault a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you — including sending relevant photos or text to our AI service provider when you use One Tap or Concierge, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You’re responsible for Your Content and for having the right to upload it. Please don’t use AthelVault to store or upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or that you don’t have permission to store.

5. AI-Assisted Features — Please Review Before Relying

One Tap and Concierge use AI to read photos and text and to suggest details like item names, prices, and warranty dates. These suggestions are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You’re responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated entry before relying on it — for example, before using AthelVault’s records to support an insurance claim, warranty request, or any other important decision. AthelVault is a personal organization tool, not a substitute for your original receipts, manufacturer documentation, insurance, or professional advice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use AthelVault for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Upload content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law permits it;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
  • Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service without our permission.

7. Intellectual Property

AthelVault, its logo, and the app’s design, features, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or software except the limited right to use the app as intended.

8. Third-Party Services

AthelVault relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (backend infrastructure), one or more AI service providers (to power One Tap and Concierge), and Google (for app distribution and Pro billing on Google Play), and Apple (once the App Store version is available). Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms and policies. We aren’t responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT ATHELVAULT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATHELVAULT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using AthelVault and delete your account at any time from within the app’s settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe your account poses a security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue AthelVault entirely, we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as AthelVault evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Continuing to use AthelVault after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you’re a consumer residing outside Malaysia, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence may still apply to you and aren’t overridden by this section. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of AthelVault that can’t be resolved informally may be brought before the courts of Malaysia, except where applicable law requires a different venue.
